Push Campaigns
Creating a Push Campaign
Follow the steps below to create and launch a push notification campaign.
Step 1: Navigate to Push Campaigns
- Go to the Marketing menu
- Select Push Campaigns
- Click Create Campaign
Step 2: Configure Notification Content
Campaign Details
Enter the following:
- Campaign Name (internal only)
- Notification Title
- Notification Body
On the right-hand side, you’ll see a live preview of how the push notification will appear on both iOS and Android.
Optional: Add an Image
You may include an Image URL.
Notifications that include an image typically generate higher engagement and conversion rates. This is strongly recommended when applicable.
Set the Tap Destination
Choose where users should go when they tap the notification.
Available options:
- Open the app home screen
- Custom page
- Account page
- Collection
- Product
- Blog article
- External URL
Make sure the destination matches the message context.
Optional: Send as In-App Notification
Toggle on Send as In-App Notification to also deliver the message to the customer’s in-app inbox.
Step 3: Select Your Audience
Choose who will receive the campaign.
Available audience options:
- All customers
- Active in the last 30 days
- Active in the last 7 days
- Customers who have placed an order
- Customers who have never ordered
- High-value customers
- Inactive for over 30 days
You may also select a Saved Audience, which can be created under:
Marketing → Audiences
At the bottom of the screen, you will see a preview of how many customers will receive the notification.
Click Next once your audience is selected.
Step 4: Choose Delivery Options
Decide when the notification should be sent.
Available options:
- Send immediately
- Schedule for a specific date and time
- Use Intelligent Timing (Recommended)
Recommended: Use Dave-Powered Intelligent TimingIntelligent Timing automatically sends each push notification at that customer’s optimal engagement time, based on their individual app usage patterns.
This increases open rates and conversions while reducing notification fatigue.
Click Next after selecting your delivery method.
Step 5: Enable Goal Tracking (Optional)
You can enable goal tracking to measure campaign performance.
Available goal types include:
- Customer places an order
- Customer views a specific page
- Customer adds items to cart
Set the Conversion Window
Choose how long after receiving the notification conversions should be tracked:
- 1 day
- 7 days
- 30 days
Step 6: Schedule Campaign
Once all settings are confirmed, click Schedule Campaign to launch your push notification.
