Set Up Community Points & Levels

Overview

Within Community, you can reward users with points for engagement and purchases.

Points can be issued for actions such as:

  • Posting content
  • Commenting
  • Sharing
  • Completing a profile
  • Viewing a Reel
  • Making a purchase

You can also create customer levels based on total points earned.


Access Points & Levels

  1. Go to Community Menu
  2. Select Points & Levels

Points Per Action

You’ll see a list of Community actions that can earn points.

For each action, you can:

  • Enter the number of Points
  • Set a Limit (how often points can be earned)
  • Toggle the action On/Off
  • Configure API integration (if connected to a loyalty provider)

This allows you to control which behaviors are rewarded.


Points for Purchases

You can also reward users for purchases.

Points can be issued for:

  • In-app purchases
  • Website (desktop) purchases
  • In-store purchases
  • Or any combination of the above

Configure Purchase Points

You can set:

  • Points per unit spent
  • Or Points per currency unit

If operating in multiple regions:

  • Configure points per currency
  • Apply different rules by region if needed

Customer Levels

You can create loyalty Levels based on total points earned.

For each level, define:

  • Minimum points required
  • Rewards or perks

Examples of Level Rewards:

  • Access to restricted Community groups
  • Free shipping
  • Early product access
  • Exclusive promotions

Levels help incentivize continued engagement and purchasing.


Best Practices

  • Reward meaningful engagement (posting, commenting, sharing).
  • Set reasonable limits to prevent abuse.
  • Align purchase rewards with profit margins.
  • Use levels to unlock exclusive benefits.
  • Clearly communicate how users can earn points.

With Points & Levels configured, your Community becomes a fully integrated loyalty system that rewards engagement and drives repeat business.
