Create and Manage Audiences

Overview

Audiences allow you to segment users so you can tailor messaging to specific groups.

You can use Audiences to:

  • Send targeted push notifications
  • Run personalized campaigns
  • Segment users by behavior or profile data

Access Audiences

  1. Go to Marketing Menu
  2. Select Audiences
  3. Click Create New Audience

Create a New Audience

1. Add Basic Information

Enter:

  • Audience Name
  • Optional Description

2. Configure Status Settings

Set whether the audience is:

  • Active (eligible for messaging)
  • Dynamic (recommended)

Dynamic Audiences

If enabled:

  • Users are automatically added or removed
  • Audience updates when users match or no longer match the criteria

Set Audience Criteria

Define the conditions users must meet.

Step 1: Select a Field

Examples include:

  • Created Date
  • Updated Date
  • Country
  • Status
  • Subscription Status
  • Industry
  • Company Name
  • Domain

Step 2: Choose an Operator

Available operators may include:

  • Equals
  • Not Equals
  • Contains
  • Is Empty
  • Is Not Empty
  • Last X Days
  • Greater Than / Less Than

Step 3: Set a Value

Enter the specific value to match.

Example:

  • Country = United States
  • Created Date = Last 30 Days

Use Multiple Conditions

You can combine rules using:

  • AND
  • OR

Example:

  • Country = US
    AND
  • Created Date = Last 30 Days

Finalize Audience

Click Create Audience.

Your audience is now available for:

  • Push notifications
  • Campaign targeting
  • Growth initiatives

Best Practices

  • Use dynamic audiences for automation.
  • Combine behavior and demographic filters.
  • Create re-engagement audiences (e.g., no activity in last 30 days).
  • Segment high-value customers separately.
  • Keep audience names clear and descriptive.

Audiences help ensure the right message reaches the right users at the right time.
