Sync and Display Blogs
Overview
You can sync your Shopify blog posts directly into your app and display them in multiple ways:
- As a dedicated blog page in navigation
- Embedded within any app page using a blog block
Sync Blogs from Shopify
- Go to Marketing Menu
- Select Blog Posts
- Click Sync From Shopify
All blogs will populate with:
- Publication status
- Current state (published/unpublished)
Manage Blog Articles
Click the Actions (⋯) menu on any blog to:
- Edit
- Publish
- Delete
Changes sync with Shopify.
Add Blogs to Navigation
To create a blog page in your app navigation:
- Go to Mobile Menu
- Select Navigation
- Click Add Item
- Enter a page name (e.g., "Blog")
Under Destination, choose:
- All Blogs (displays all blog posts)
- Or select a Specific Blog
Select an icon and click Add Item.
The blog will now appear in your navigation.
Add Blogs to a Page (Blog Block)
To embed blog articles inside a page:
- Go to the desired page
- Open the drag-and-drop editor
- Drag in the Blog Posts Block
Blog Block Display Options
You can customize:
Content Selection
- All articles
- Specific articles
- Filter by blog
- Filter by author
- Filter by tag
Layout Options
- List
- Grid
- Carousel
If using Grid:
- Select number of columns
Article Settings
- Number of articles displayed
- Show featured image
- Show author
- Show publish date
- Show summary
- Show "Read More" link
- Show tags
Styling Controls
- Adjust title font size and color
- Adjust body text size and color
- Add border
- Customize border style
- Adjust padding
Best Practices
- Use navigation for full blog browsing.
- Use blog blocks to feature specific articles on Home or landing pages.
- Highlight featured images for stronger engagement.
- Limit article count for cleaner design.
- Use tags to organize content effectively.
Your Shopify blogs are now fully integrated into your app experience.
